Sounds like those folks need a hobby.

Many restaurants (fast food and others) are already trying to go with the trans-fat free oils, but the government thinks they need to jump in and be the heroes.

Good news. Protect people who don't have sense to protect themselves. Obesity is an epidemic, changes like this can help fight it.

I guarantee if the government gets involved it will become a indescribable mess . I , nor anyone else , needs the gov't . to dictate what we can eat . No fries today then what ...no beef tomorrow (too much fat ) no chicken (too many steroids ), no milk or cheese (too much cholesterol ) no bread (too many carbs ) no soft drinks ( too much sugar or carcinogenic sweeteners ) no spinich ( too much E. Coli ) .
Educate people starting in elem . school , parents take responsibility and educate at home and for goodness sake put the Ninetendo or remote down for awhile and get some exercise . Just say NO to gov't intervention .

Agreed. People should be able to take care of themselves without the help of the government, and if they CAN'T, let them face the consequences.

FRENCH FRIES have been illegal since the war started way back when, everybody remember when they were trying to change the name to "FREEDOM FRIES"..haha..classic
